Aspen Art Museum

The Aspen Art Museum was founded in 1979 by artists and community members passionate about contemporary art. Located in Aspen, Colorado, the museum features works by notable contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Cindy Sherman and Tom Sachs. Its new building, designed by architect Shigeru Ban, opened in 2014 and is distinguished by its woven exterior and sustainable design. The Aspen Art Museum offers rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and community events, making it a vital institution dedicated to contemporary art and artistic innovation.
